The performances went very well we had a lot of rehearsals to try and perfect the play. We started by getting our roles in the play, from then in was a slow process as we had just got our scripts and we needed to start putting the pay together. Most of the time we would read out our lines or go though the whole play. After a while we started to learn lines and start getting a grip on our characters and Rob started to make us play with the emotions of the characters (what was behind the lines). We also spoke in class about how the characters react to each other and how that effects them and why it does. In production lessons i was in the publicity team and i started by making posters but then i thought to myself why go for something small so i also started to make a website i started basic but then i thought to make it more interesting.

So i had posters and a website but then i thought if you want to make something public in this day and age you need to think modern so I also made social media pages as that's the best way to publicize your performance.
so after I made all of these things I was thinking what else should I do, what do people do when trying to promote and then it came to me 'adverts' so I started working on the trailer. So I looked up a trailer for my favorite TV show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haW1nY9wvVA&t=21s and that how I got my inspiration. to also help me with research I looked up posters to help me.
I looked at different posters to help me as I wanted to think about how to make the
At the end of the performance when I was looking around everyone had looks of pride, happiness and over all excitement all of the drama going on outside of the class didn't matter anymore because In that moment we where all as one. To help me with my role I looked up how straight boys would act. so I watched a lot of films like brother hood, 123 ect. during rehearsals we did a lot of running through the play and trying to perfect the play and we had to try and make our characters more realistic by even the slightest thing, playing the characters was quite easy as we are all teenagers and most of the people in the play are teens. I looked up a lot of descriptions of the play so I could get a feel of the whole mood of what we where performing. a couple days before the performance I was thinking to myself that I should make a program so when people come in they know what the play is about and who was playing what character. As a whole I feel like the performance went very well as we all knew our lines and there was no hick-ups, no one ghosted and we all had fun. if I could make one improvement it would be that I would have been a bit louder and maybe to not be so shy about doing my monologue as it is about a woman who hates me, so I should have been a bit more upset about it. If I could change something for production I would make a poster that could advertise our play. When I first got the script I looked up what people were saying about the play by Deborah Gearing.
