week three

To start the week we had Becca and we wrote/updated our blogs, we then had rob and he gave us a card that said culture and we had to make a short scene about what was on the card. we went with an idea for american cloture and the difference between how it is in the UK then it is there. it started with two people playing basket ball and then someone was filming a fight because of a 'turf war'. The next day we had Rob and in his lesson we got given a piece of paper and had to write what we think identity is about to us individually. For example i wrote how i think identity is how i portray myself to the world we then gave rob all the pieces of paper and he told us to sit in a line. He then gave out all the cards in a random order so no one had there own, we then had to read the cards out in a random order and rob then said that this would be the start of our piece. He then split the class in half and we all had to come up with two more scenes. The group that i was in decided to have different classes of people trying to get a house and only the higher class gets one. The next lesson we had was Mandy's movement class and what we did was get into pairs and then we did a dance like a waltz me and Naomi got praised by the teacher as we were the best in the class, we also did many stretches and warm ups. The next lesson we had was production with Becca and we worked on our essays and we learned a little bit more about our rolls and what we need to do to make our essays perfect. On Thursday we had Rob and we in the theatre and we worked more on creating a piece of drama about identity we set up the stage which was just chairs set up in a pyramid formation. Then on Friday we had Becca and we worked on our blogs.
