week fourteen

We went though our lesson doing smart targets for ourselves and again we didn't have rob. On Tuesday our teacher wanted us to think about why are character are where they are and we had to think why they are doing what they are doing e.g. why are they under the restaurant ? why re they waiting and who/what are they waiting for ? When we were told that I thought instantly to look up the backstory to the play, the research that I did is look up the plot and think of how to portray the characters.   

I tried to think about how the characters would feel about being in this situation. For example Ben is like the leader of the group he is very structured and easily annoyed where as Gus is easily distracted and he is a simpleton. Then we had Mandy we started by copying what was on the board as she wanted us to do some homework using the information she had given us. We spent the lesson doing our ice skating dance me and Naomi added steps to extend it and make it look much better.

    

we added flips and gliding movements as that's what we thought went with our theme. We then had Becca we started going thought the different outfits again i looked up different drawings of Ariana and i was thinking of different things to inspire me

I used all of the pictures to come up with my piece i started thinking about what kind of themes. When i went home i started straight away by drawing different images/outfits i think would go with Ariana's theme. When i think of Ariana Grande i think pink, bubbly, girly and a little sexual.
On Thursday we then had Rob where we had more rehearsals and i spent the whole lesson with Dillon rehearsing and we went though our part of the script. on Thursday we had drama first and we ended up watching the level threes performance and the first one was about a group of people in a room and they were trapped or something and its about how they have to kill each other but at the end you realise that its a game, not real. The next one was about a detective murder mystery and the audience had to decided who the killer was. The final piece was about these robot things and one of them was different like he wasn't functioning properly and then he goes all rouge but then get an injection to be a robot again. On Friday we had blog with Becca were we updated out blogs and finished any unfinished work. we then had rob and we again spent the lesson going thought our dumb waiter scripts and we went though the whole play so it was good to see other peoples parts aswell as our own.
