week five

On Monday we had Becca and again she gave us the option to do blog or our essays, we also had to do these questionnaires about different things to do with violence and abuse and when we finished we sat as a class and discussed what Becca put on the whiteboard. We then had rob where we ran though the piece the whole lesson and we changed thing around to make sure that it would be a smooth performance. On Tuesday we were in the theatre and we started by playing a game where you there are two actors and then translators the actors have to use a made up language and the translators have to make up dialogue, we also played a game where you cant say yes or no. I feel like Rob made us play these games as we were all feeling nervous and he knows things were going on in the group and we all had a laugh together. We then had to run through the piece again. The next lesson we had was Mandy and again we just ran it though for the whole lesson for her and she helped us become better with our body language, for example i have flat feet so they go out and she told me a way to keep them in as it looks professional. Then for our last lesson we had Becca and we did our essays for production. On Thursday we had drama and it was our last rehearsal before our performance so we just cracked on with final tweaks and run throughs. Friday we started in 226 and we did another run though before we went down to the theatre and did lighting and sound run through. Then we had the performance, we started and i was really nervous at first but then when i got into it and saw all my friends in the group even the people i may not like having fun and enjoying themselves all the nerves went away. We then watched music level 2 and 3 do there songs and it was amazing when one girl got up and forgot the lyrics everyone started clapping and cheering you could feel all the support and love in the room from people you haven't even spoken to. It was an amazing experience and day. At the end we all got given sheets telling us we have to write a revue our own performances
